1014, also known as TenFourteen and Bloodorange, is the pairing of Fourteen and Ten from the Battle For Dream Island series. They more specifically originate from the Jacknjellify subscriber shorts, which are non-canon to the main series. Although they have since made their debuts in the main episodes, they have yet to interact in canon, but still engage a cult fanbase of many dedicated 1014ers.

BACKGROUND

The Algebraliens are creatures embodying mathematical symbols originating from a planet of an unknown name—the ones we know and love reside in the Equation Playground. Not a whole lot is known about their society or species in general so far, so a lot fan content involving them is built off headcanons and speculation, paticularly regarding the non-canon universe (which fans refer to as XFOHV). This is, of course, where the 1014 ship originates from. This specific continuity is completely seperate from the canon BFDI episodes, so, sadly, the most 1014 we have in canon is a few seconds of them in the same frame (BFDI:TPOT 20: Alone), but that will never hinder the dedication of fans!
Starting at Thanks for 700,000 subscribers, Jacknjellify's subscriber specials have begun feature the Algebraliens, aside from only canon's main stars, and the Equation Playground. Although BFDI is a generally lighthearted series, these specials are paticularly so as they are non-canon and episodic, relying on funny, quick cartoon logic rather than a deeper lore. The nature of Ten and Fourteen's relationship, as well as other characters and storylines, is iherently unserious and jokey as a result. From my own personal perspective, that is all part of the fun! This page aims to acknowledge both the canon surface-level of their relationships and characters, along with deeper readings and discussions that I, and many other fans, love to engage in.
